Sarahlynn E is a is a bodyworker and movement educator with a deep love of yoga spanning nearly 15 years. She completed her yoga teacher training through Alaska Ayurveda and Yoga at Alaska Pacific University in 2015 and 2016. She values yoga as moving meditation, yoga for wellness, and yoga as a vehicle for positive change, both individually and on a broader scale. She enjoys the challenge of tailoring classes to whatever students need and want in the moment, and making yoga accessible and fun for all, as well as challenging students to take yoga ‘off the mat.’ She teaches several styles of hatha [HUH-tuh] yoga including vinyasa (flow), strength, sculpt, stretch, ‘Yin-spired,’ restorative, and fascial release.
Sarahlynn found Pilates in 2016 as a means of addressing her own low back and hip pain. She has continued to practice since that time, and began her Comprehensive Somatic Pilates teacher training last year.
She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. She is passionate about caring for the whole person, developing highly individualized treatments, and facilitating deep healing through the nervous system.
