We want to ensure you get the most from your classes. If it’s your first visit to our studio please read the following policies to get the most from your experience!
The class I want is full. Now what?
Add yourself to the waitlist. People cancel classes all week long. When they cancel you will get an automated email sent to you asking if you would like to take the class. Please respond yes or no. If you do not respond we consider that a yes and will keep you registered. At the 24 hours prior to class marker, the waitlist is dropped and it is best for you to check online to see if a class has opened up.
How often should I take class?
At the Fit Lab we have such a huge variety of classes that we recommend taking 5 days a week. We train you hard so a break is always a great thing on the body. We recommend trying to take at least one cardio style class(mega-spin, HIIT, one strength base class (Barr, Jumpboard reformer, MEGA-fit reformer) and one flexibility class( barre, Pilates mat, or Pilates Cadillac equipment a week) Diversity helps from plateauing and burn out.
Do you have changing rooms and lockers?
Yes, at the Fit Lab we have a changing room and lockers with keys for you to keep your belongings.
What is the request form that you have out during some months?
At the Fit Lab we change our schedules slightly every 2 months. At this time we ask clients if they want to pre-register for classes to fill this out so that we can try to get them set for 2 months in every class they are trying to be in. This is not mandated, but it helps with guaranteeing you into the classes you want each week. Remember you can always cancel any class as long as it is 24 hours prior.
How old do you need to be to take class?
At the Fit Lab most of the classes are designed for any age and ability. With that being said we limit the age to 12 at the studio. Children underage do need to have a parent sign the waiver in order to take class.
Do you have childcare?
We do not have on-site childcare. We do have babysitter recommendations that we could give you. If a child is 10 and up and can sit by themselves up front, we are fine with waiting up front during the class. (Please check with upfront on approval).
What class should I start with?
We recommend that if you are wanting to really see what the studio has to offer, then start with our Jumpstart 3-3-3 program. This will give you 3 private sessions where the instructor can get to know you and your body and what you are looking for in your fitness plan. They will give modifications if you have injuries and set you up with what classes are best for you. You also receive a 3 group fitness classes, and 3 equipment pilates classes.
I suggest trying these out during the same time you are fitting your privates in. All classes can accommodate any level. If you are not looking to try Pilates then our 2 week unlimited group fitness start up is a great way to begin. It is a great bang for your buck and allows you to try out all our group fitness classes.
How often should you do the InBody?
Our InBody composition test is a great way for you to see progress. I suggest trying a package that allows weekly weigh-ins. This way the instructor can see if you are loosing weight and gaining muscle. It also tells us if we need to strengthen one side of the body more then the other. This is a great tool to hold us accountable.
When is someone in the office?
Our office staff is onsite Monday-Friday 8am-1am. If after these hours email is a great way to contact us. We answer all emails within 24 hours.
Do you have an app?
The MindBody app is a great way to go mobile. Download the app and look up the studio. Use the same login you have created when we sent you your welcome email. This app will allow you to see your classes as well as register and cancel at anytime.
