Gail moved to Washington from New York in 1993 to start her teaching career. Gail and her husband, Pat, have two children, Sydney Rose a senior at WSU and Michael a junior at Peninsula High School. The family was adopted by two dogs, Bella and Sheldon.
Gail started taking private rehab Pilates sessions to supplement her physical therapy after shoulder and foot surgery in the same year due to hyper mobility syndrome. Gail says she quickly felt stronger and then switched to group Pilates equipment classes and fitness classes. She says the group equipment instructors know how to accommodate her limitations yet push her to keep challenging herself. Gail said, “I missed it so much during the closure, but the studio did great job of keeping me engaged , even renting me a spin bike!” She is so glad to be back
